Why pallet moisture matters
Timber is hygroscopic, so moisture content changes with its environment. Drying can reduce the amount of free moisture in the timber and may help customers who have tighter packaging or storage requirements.
Agree the target, not just the wording
“Kiln dried” by itself does not always tell a buyer the final moisture level. If you have a maximum moisture requirement, tell us what it is and how it will be checked.
