New pallets are a sensible choice where consistency, cleanliness and predictable condition matter. They can be specified for routine UK distribution or prepared for international movement where phytosanitary treatment is required.
EPAL, Euro-size and specification checks
“Euro pallet” is sometimes used loosely. A licensed EPAL pallet must meet the EPAL specification and marking requirements, whereas a pallet can simply be manufactured to the 1200 × 800 footprint without being an EPAL pallet. Tell us exactly what your customer, racking or production line requires before ordering.
Heat treated and kiln dried options
Heat treatment and kiln drying are not interchangeable terms. For export, ISPM 15 heat treatment may be required. For moisture-sensitive applications, kiln dried pallets can provide lower and more controlled timber moisture.
